The Indonesian government continues to strengthen its strategy for placing migrant workers in Turkey, recognizing the country as one of the key destinations for overseas employment opportunities. The discussion was led by Deputy Minister for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (Wamen P2MI), Christina Aryani, who emphasized the importance of structured, legal, and well-prepared workforce placement.
According to Christina Aryani, Indonesia sees strong potential in expanding cooperation with Turkey, particularly in sectors that require skilled and disciplined workers. She highlighted that improving placement systems and strengthening coordination between stakeholders are essential to ensuring Indonesian workers are well protected and competitive abroad.
“Proper preparation and a clear placement mechanism are crucial so Indonesian migrant workers can work safely and build sustainable careers overseas,” Christina Aryani stated during the discussion.
This initiative also underlines the growing need for transparent recruitment channels and compliance with international employment regulations. For Indonesian talent, understanding legal processes, work standards, and destination country requirements is becoming increasingly important.
