Turkey to Open Thousands of Hospitality Job Opportunities for Indonesian Workers in 2026

The Indonesian government has announced that Turkey is expected to open up to 15,000 overseas job opportunities for Indonesian migrant workers in 2026, with a strong focus on the hospitality and tourism sector.

The update was shared by Vice Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI), Christina Aryani, following bilateral discussions between Indonesia and Turkey regarding future workforce placement.

“We discussed placement targets and employment opportunities for 2026, and agreed to manage up to 15,000 positions through official and well-regulated channels,” Christina Aryani stated, as quoted by Antara News.

Most of the available roles are projected to be seasonal hospitality positions, with contract periods ranging from six to eight months, aligned with Turkey’s tourism cycles. Additional opportunities are also expected in domestic services and construction.

The recruitment process is scheduled to take place between August and December 2025, with worker deployment beginning in April 2026. The Indonesian government will ensure that all recruitment partners meet official standards to guarantee worker protection.

This initiative highlights Turkey’s growing demand for Indonesian hospitality talent and reinforces opportunities for professionals seeking international experience through structured and secure employment pathways.
